The Snowstar software is usually recognised by the operators as a van product among the software of snowmaking systems control.

The GSS has been realized to permit a progressive and modular integration of the control and management functions: from the easy remote control and/or monitoring of engine room and ski run to the integral management of the complete system.

This centralized control of the software is effectuated by a continuous dialogue at 9.600 baud in multi-tasking way, by radio, by cable, between the central unit and the controller (PLC) of each snow guns and machines room.

               
The dialogue in real time permits to control (Order of start/stop/putting in stand-by of snow guns and production machines) and parameterize (various set-up point of start/stop and sequence control, regulation, faults….) the PLC of each snowguns and of each machines rooms, either from the central PC, or locally from PLC  in completely transparency and interdependence .
Through the centralization of the information (Analogical, logic, state of availability, priority of functioning) on PC, the software permits to manage the resources in water/air and snow guns installed  to plan and optimize the snow production according to the whether conditions and snow quality wished.

Moreover, the software proposes an aesthetic and convivial graphic interface that permits a rapid access and an easy monitoring of the complete system and all its components.

The STATISTIC MODULE of the software offers the possibility to save the production data and the events of the log to analyze in detail a period of production, with an automatic realisation of an economical and managerial balance of the snowmaking production. 

To conclude, the maintenance assistance module proposes a program on-line to remember all the revision and maintenance operations requested by the snowmaking system components (snowguns, valves, pumps, compressors, transducers…) .

Trough a modem and a telephonic line, the system is manageable also at long distance.
This function is very useful for the remote assistance and the software updating by our technicians.
